To Renaissance 8th graders, I hope that many of you see this. I am traveling with my wife to Alaska, leaving tomorrow. I will miss your stepping up celebration. It was an honor to get to know so many of you this year. What you learned as Renaissance students and from the work you did on the advocacy project will be with you for life. I have very high expectations for you and look forward to finding out what you are doing in the future. Continue your relentless ways. -Marty Krovetz

Eighth graders, that was the most amazing Exhibition event! You all produced the most meaningful and creative Exhibitions that I have seen in the seven years that Renaissance has been running this event. You are an amazingly talented group of individuals. You have proven that you are equipped to make this world a better place. Go forth and ADVOCATE!

Working in the eighth grade Advocacy Project has taught me many great things. It has taught me that with teamwork we can accomplish just about anything. I have learned skills such as: speaking, negotiation, and advocating in this process. I am very proud of the work that we have accomplished in these past few months. I hope the next few Renaissance classes will finish the work that we have started. I am sure that the work we have accomplish will influence many new generations to come. I wish them luck in finishing what we have begun in the last few months for a new future for Renaissance.
