There are numerous societal issues and challenges that we face today. The current generation is inheriting a variety of problems. We need to equip the youth of today with the skills they need to address these challenges. The student advocacy project that all Renaissance 8th graders are challenged with is an opportunity for students to think critically, solve problems, and apply the skills and knowledge they are learning in the classroom to a relevant and significant task.
