On behalf of the Renaissance teachers and staff, welcome to the Renaissance website. 

Renaissance is a college preparatory middle school.  Renaissance teachers are committed to preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and habits they need to thrive as learners who are prepared to excel when they promote and further their academic career.  At Renaissance we have a variety of systems in place in our effort to ensure all Renaissance graduates are college bound:  advisory class, weekly homework assignments in core classes, block schedule, midterm and final exam assessments, and a college themed cohort system to name a few.  The number one factor, however, that prepares Renaissance students for college is our high expectations for our students, parents, and teachers. 

At Renaissance we embrace the belief that “it takes a village to raise a child.”  Students are supported and expected to work to their full potential.  Parents are given opportunities to provide support and expected to remain aware and involved in their child’s education.  Finally, teachers and staff are highly qualified and expected to facilitate highly engaging lessons and to know their students’ hearts and minds well.  Renaissance is a community in which all stakeholders are expected to work hard.
