Welcome ~ Vision ~ Goal
Welcome:
Renaissance Academy of Arts, Science, and Social Justice is a small school of choice serving 200 students in grades 6-8. Located on the campus of Clyde Fischer middle school we offer opportunity to students from throughout the Alum Rock Union School District. We are extremely excited to be a recognized as a California Distinguished School!
Vision:
The Renaissance Academy community aims to build a safe, equitable, rigorous, and relationship-centered learning environment in which individual passion and creativity is nurtured, consciousness of social justice is raised, and academic skills and habits of mind are developed thereby equipping individual students to achieve their full potential.
Goal:
Our current API score is 769 and we have achieved this goal through dedication and effort in the classroom, commitment to and nurturing of a family style school community, and attention to and recognition of a larger global awareness. We continue to promote these beliefs as we aim to reach this year’s goal:
