Transportation

Alum Rock’s Transportation team provides transportation for field trips, special events, and provides routes for eligible students with Special Education Services.

Requesting Transportation due to School Closures & Consolidations

For the 2025-2026 School Year, students and families that 1) submitted their Transportation Request Form and 2) met the following criteria and are eligible for transportation:

  • Students were enrolled at one of the following schools in the 2024-2025 School Year: 

    • Aptitud (5th - 7th Graders)
    • Cassell
    • Cureton
    • Dorsa
    • George
    • Hubbard (5th - 7th Graders)
    • Meyer
    • Renaissance at Fischer
  • Students were impacted by the school closures and consolidation process
  • Submitted a Transportation Request Form by June 29, 2025
  • Please note: No application is guaranteed. Only the bus route options provided on the form will be considered and a student needs to be currently enrolled at a closing school to request transportation. 
     

What to Expect After Form Submission

After form submission, the Transportation Department will process your form and will contact you using the email provided after the deadline with a decision and additional information. Please check your email over the summer for updates on the application. 

Bus Routes and Schedule

Although we make every effort to make the posted times, we will prioritize student safety at all times. Please expect delays as students and our team adjusts to the routes and increased traffic during the back-to-school season.
