Community Schools
The California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) Grant supports schools in building stronger, more connected learning communities by aligning academics, health and wellness, family engagement, and community partnerships. Alum Rock Union School District was awarded approximately $18.5 million through multiple CCSPP implementation cohorts to support Community Schools across the district.
These funds are being used over a multi-year implementation period (2024–2030) to strengthen positive school climate and culture, expand meaningful family engagement, and improve the integration of academic, wellness, and community-based supports. Community Schools implementation is intentionally phased to allow schools time to build strong foundations, align systems, and create sustainable practices that advance the district’s Vision 2030 goals and improve outcomes for students and families.
