Expanded Learning Program (ASES/ELOP)

Alum Rocks Expanded Learning Program (ASES/ELOP) provides safe and educationally enriching alternatives for children and youth during non-school hours.  These programs are created through partnerships between schools and local community resources to provide literacy, academic, enrichment, and safe constructive alternatives for students in Kindergarten through eighth grade (TK-8).ASES Program Plan ELOP

The Alum Rock Union School District works closely with three community-based organizations to plan and implement a high-quality Expanded Learning program for our students.  Among these agencies are Think Together, YMCA, and Boys & Girls Club. For more information on the agencies, please contact their representatives via email.

Days of Operation: Monday through Friday, every day school is open.

Time: Before the Bell 7:30am - 8:30am 

TK & & Kinder times: AM & PM TK/K offerings

Afterschool Dismissal - 6:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome your child to our After-School Programs for the 2026-27 school year! These programs are designed to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where students receive academic support and participate in fun, hands-on activities.

Programs are offered Before school School and After school for both Elementary and Middle Schools and are free of charge for enrolled ARUSD families.
