Foster & Homeless Youth Services

Foster & Homeless Youth Services support children and youth in foster care and homeless situations with supplementary materials and programs. Services are designed to address students’ vital educational needs. 
Alum Rock Union School District provides foster youth and homeless students assistance with the following:

  • Backpacks and school supplies
  • School uniforms
  • Transportation for educational use only (pre-qualification is required)
  • Student enrollment assistance
  • Tutoring services
  • Support with fees related to extracurricular activities (pre-qualification is required)
