Verizon Innovative Learning provides free technology, free internet access, and hands-on learning experiences to help give underserved students the education they deserve. Code to the Future

These elementary and middle schools partner with Code to the Future to provide students with a comprehensive computer science immersion program.

Visual and Performing Arts

 

Cureton, Linda Vista, and Lyndale Elementary Schools, with Gold Ribbon Award winner George Middle School as the flagship for the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Cluster. The arts programs provide students a variety of opportunities to expand their learning.

Media Arts Academy

Hubbard Media Arts Academy is the first school in the Bay Area implementing the Youth Cinema Project, providing 4th and 7th grade students with the opportunity to learn and produce their own short-films.

New Tech Network

As part of a 200-school national network, staff and students at Fischer Middle School of Business and Communications and Sheppard Middle School utilize advanced technology to solve problems and learn through research, experience, collaboration and creativity.

Dual Language Programs

The schools provide opportunities for all students to achieve bilingual proficiency and to develop multicultural competencies through a rigorous English and Spanish dual language instruction program.  Adelante I (K-8) and Adelante II (K-4) are dual language academies that follow a 90/10 model of instruction.
