VAPA in the 2025 - 2026 School Year
We know many of the questions among ARUSD families are about how VAPA will look in the 2025-2026 school year. One thing is certain: VAPA will continue! In many cases, school consolidations will bring a greater offering of VAPA programs at one site with many of the programs following the student to their new school. Other programs will be reimagined but will continue nonetheless.
Current plan for programs at our middle schools:
Ocala - Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Choir, Piano, Music Production, Drumline, and Visual Art
Renaissance at Mathson - Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Jazz Band, and Visual Art
Sheppard - Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Choir, Piano, Music Production, Drumline, Guitar, and Visual Art
