Project Based Learning (PBL)
Students learn through a specific, methodical, research based learning experience, in which they build their knowledge through research, experience, collaboration and creativity. PBL provides authentic learning experiences to develop problem solvers of the future!
Science Technology Engineering Art and Math (STEAM)
STEAM opportunities entice our young Alum Rock minds and build their interest in design thinking and STEAM careers. Teacher fellows are trained through The Tech Innovative STEAM program and focus on mechanical and software engineering.

Student Leadership through Media Arts
Throughout Alum Rock, young minds are collaborating, designing, and creating! Their studies in communication through film, photography, video, computer/digital arts, and interactive media, are evident in an array of media arts publications, including YouTube channels, and film/sound studio productions.
