Alum Rock Celebrates & Welcomes Collaborative Partners in Innovation!

Various partnerships have advanced our work over the years, and continue to support our work in best practices for exceptional access and accelerated innovation! Our partners support Alum Rock in building capacity in expertise, as well as, in providing resources.  Read below to learn about some key partnerships that continue to build and shape best practices in Technology integration in Alum Rock.

Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS)                                                                                                                                                                           

VILS are schools in which all learning is accessed through a learning management system and utilizes the latest educational applications that truly redefine teaching and learning.  Extensive professional development through ongoing training and one to one coaching motivates capacity in our schools for lifelong learning.

The Tech Interactive                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Our partnership with The Tech, in downtown San Jose, has unified the excitement in Alum Rock around all things STEAM!  Through teacher fellowships, with extensive training, designed to build expansive opportunities and expertise across all schools, STEAM explorations in mechanical engineering and software engineering really shine at our district’s annual STEAM Faire hosted at The Tech!
