Integrated Technology is a highlight of teaching and learning! Classrooms are fully equipped with the latest innovative technology and our variety of 1:1 devices enable staff and students to thrive in the utilization of advanced technologies. School communities continue to redefine teaching and learning, and target tech integrated learning outcomes in knowledge & thinking, written & oral communication, agency, and collaboration.
Multiple partnerships and site teams motivate Alum Rock’s success in tech integration. A district Tech Team is committed to propel our district into the most innovative, experiences in teaching and learning. Long term plans support infrastructure and implementation designs for continuous expansion and sustainability. Site Leadership teams support ongoing professional development for teachers in maximizing capacity in integrated technology such that learning may be redesigned, and tasks emerge that were previously inconceivable.
We take pride in the various advanced experiences available to students that prepare them to compete in today’s world. STEAM experiences, career explorations, creative film production, and student IT teams, are just a few examples of ongoing work throughout the district. State of the art equipment, including Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and sound studios are part of the hands-on experiences that allow our Alum Rock students to thrive.
