About Us
In Alum Rock, we are committed to providing every student access to quality music education. Our dedicated music teachers work across the district, providing instruction in general music, band, choir, world music, piano and more. Many of our music educators are ARUSD alumni who have come back to share their passion with a new generation of students.
Band programs are offered at all middle and elementary schools for 4th - 8th grade students and General Music is taught to every 4th and 5th grade student in the district. Additional opportunities are available by site.
